2.0 KW Starter Motor

The 2.0 KW Starter Motor is designed for high performance and reliability. This starter features enhanced components including a solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs that are replaced with stronger materials to ensure durability. The clutch shaft and rollers are precision-ground and hardened, providing a longer service life.

Each unit is assembled with a special lubricant suitable for starter roller clutch applications, ensuring smooth operation. The CNC-machined billet mounting noses are secured with aerospace fasteners for added strength and stability.

Every starter undergoes rigorous dyno testing, which includes checks for hi-low voltage, stall torque, solenoid engagement, amperage draw, load testing, maximum RPM, and motor impulse wave form. This guarantees that each unit meets high-performance standards.

With a gear reduction ratio of 4.4:1, this starter delivers 46% more cranking torque than a stock starter, making it capable of starting any monster motor. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use it with Terry battery cables and a battery with over 300 cold cranking amps, like the Drag Specialties battery.
