This intelligent charger is specifically designed for all types of 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, making it an excellent choice for deep cycle batteries.

Ideal for both 6V and 12V deep cycle and starter (SLI) lead-acid batteries commonly found in various vehicles, crafts, and equipment, the OptiMate 5 allows users to select the appropriate charge voltage for their battery. This selection is retained even if the AC power is interrupted.

With a fully automatic multi-step program, this charger brings your battery safely to full charge without requiring any supervision. Just connect it to your battery, and let the OptiMate 5 do the rest!

The AMPMATIC feature automatically adjusts the current to match the size and condition of the battery, ensuring safe and efficient charging. It is safe to leave connected, providing full electronic protection while maintaining the battery's health 24/7.

This charger can even revive a 'dead' battery with voltage as low as 0.5V, and it includes a state of health (S.O.H.) test to assess your battery's condition. Additionally, the voltage safety check prevents charging if the battery voltage does not match the selected setting, requiring user confirmation for added safety.

Environmentally friendly, the OptiMate 5 incorporates green technology with energy-saving features, drawing less than 0.5W of power in standby mode while efficiently maintaining your battery's health around the clock. Rated IP54 for weatherproofing, it can be used in conditions as low as -40°C / -40°F.
