The Tech 3 Boots are designed with an upper construction made from innovative and light microfiber material that is flexible and abrasion resistant. The light microfiber on the front and rear bellow provides enhanced comfort in flexible areas.
The toe box is crafted from synthetic material for high abrasion resistance, while the extended Polyurethane (PU) synthetic gaiter helps seal out excessive water and dirt entry. A contoured Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) calf protector plate, along with TPU higher medial protector, TPU outer lateral ankle, and TPU heel counter, offers support and resistance to impacts.
A rear Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) gaiter patch is applied on top of the TPU calf protector for added protection and comfort during rear flex. The injected TPU shin plate is connected with the TPU medial protector panel, featuring a hook-and-loop upper closure and TPR flap for broad-ranging calf fit adjustment and support.
The TPU higher medial protector is designed with a technical texture for improved grip. A bio-mechanical medial blade system allows for good front-rear flex, providing support and protection to the ankle. The ergonomic TPU triple buckle straps wrap harmoniously around the front flex from the medial protector to the lateral side without compromising the boot's flexibility.
The closure system includes three polymer buckles with an innovative design featuring a ratchet with memory and a quick release/locking system with self-aligning design for easy, precise closure; all buckles are replaceable. The innovative one-piece TPU injected dual compound foot shell is reinforced by a metal shank inside a co-injected toe reinforcement.
Soft foams surrounding the ankles and collar offer comfort and shock-absorbing performance. A replaceable EVA footbed with textile lining on top and a high grip rubber compound outsole complete the boot, ensuring the sole is replaceable for longevity.
