The Tech 5 Boots feature an upper constructed from innovative and lightweight microfiber material with action leather on the toe box. The redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones provide enhanced mobility. A contoured TPU calf protector plate, TPU higher medial protector, and TPU outer lateral ankle ensure superior protection. The injected TPU shin plate is connected with the TPU medial protector panel for added durability.

The hook-and-loop upper closure and TPR flap allow for broad-ranging calf fit adjustment and support. The TPU higher medial protector is designed with a technical texture for improved grip. The boots also incorporate a bio-mechanical pivot and ergonomic TPU triple buckle straps for a secure fit.

These boots feature an innovative one-piece TPU injected dual-compound foot shell, reinforced by a metal shank inside and co-injected toe reinforcement. The TPU heel patch connects with the shell, along with lateral and medial TPU sections. An extended PU synthetic gaiter helps seal out excessive water and dirt entry, while soft polyfoam surrounds the ankles and collar for comfort.

The full inner textile lining ensures a comfortable wear experience. The closure system includes four polymer buckles with an innovative design that features a ratchet with memory and a quick-release/locking system with a self-aligning design for precise closure. All buckles are replaceable.

Additionally, the boots come with a replaceable anatomic EVA footbed with textile lining on top, a high-grip rubber compound outsole, and a replaceable sole for extended use.
