Youth S-M3 Radium Helmet

The all-new SM3 Youth Helmet is anatomically engineered and profiled specifically for youth and younger riders, optimized for MX, Enduro, and Off-road use. This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell made from a special polymer blend, designed to provide the perfect balance of impact protection and reduced weight.

Constructed from a technologically advanced impact-resistant thermoplastic, the lightweight outer shell is available in three sizes: Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large, with a weight of just 1060g.

The fit can be customized to the rider’s head with interchangeable crown and cheek pads, available as genuine spare parts in different thicknesses. The Youth Medium and Youth Large sizes share the same EPS size, allowing for an initial purchase of a Youth Medium helmet that can be adjusted to a Youth Large as the rider grows. The Youth Small has a smaller EPS size and can only be customized via cheek pads.

With a multi-density inner liner designed for enhanced impact absorption and reduced weight, the helmet minimizes the effects of oblique impacts. Alpinestars' patented low friction coating on the EPS liner helps reduce rotational acceleration forces during impacts. The patented visor release system ensures the visor releases with the correct force, reducing strain on the rider's neck.

The comfort liner is made using recycled materials for a lower carbon footprint, and hydration tube channels are integrated into the cheek pads for convenience.

Safety is a priority with a new in-house standard for chin testing, optimizing shell thickness for superior impact performance. An Emergency Release System and removable cheek pads allow for easy removal while still on the helmet. The soft textile chin strap (25mm) provides optimal safety and comfort, secured by stainless steel D-rings.

Maximized ventilation is achieved with 10 inlets and seven exhaust ports, ensuring high heat transfer exchange, while the visor directs airflow into the ports for enhanced cooling.
