2000-HDE PC-Programmable Digital Ignition Module

This 2000-HDE PC-Programmable Digital Ignition Module is a plug-in upgrade to the electronic advance ignition found on late model Harleys. Designed for precision, this module is micro-computer controlled, providing extremely accurate control over the entire ignition process.

Riders can tailor the advance curve and rev limiter to meet the specific needs of their engine. It features four built-in advance curves that accommodate stock to highly modified engines under various operating conditions, as well as four independent rev limiter choices ranging from 6000 to 7500 rpm, allowing for precise protection levels.

With PC programmability, users can define a wide-open and part-throttle curve, rev limits, dead-cranking revs, and rear cylinder offset. The module also includes a separate tach output wire that ensures clean tach operation during rev limiting and when in single-fire mode.

For troubleshooting and static timing, a diagnostic LED indicator is included on the back of the control module. This product is proudly made in the U.S.A.

IMPORTANT: For electronic advance ignition systems like the Dyna 2000-HD1 or the stock Harley ignition, it is essential to use carbon fiber-type suppression spark plug wires to minimize radio frequency interference. Copper wires may cause malfunctions due to severe electrical noise from the spark plugs. The original wire supplied by Harley-Davidson should be acceptable.

Note: This module is not suitable for fuel-injected models, and HDE systems are incompatible with Dyna "S" systems. Use HD1/HD2 systems only.
