The Alternate Length Designer Series ABS-Specific Front Brake Line Kit provides ABS-compatible fitment for stock and alternate-length brake setups, following OEM routing for reliable performance.
Brake lines use PTFE inner tubing, DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fiber reinforcement, premium braided coverings and a clear outer PVC jacket to minimize expansion and protect against scuffing and discoloration.
This kit consists of a direct-fit lower assembly designed to be used with alternative-length upper lines; upper, lower, mid and adapter kits are sold separately to ensure exact fitment.
Designed for Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with ABS, these ABS-specific lines are identified with "ABS" printed on the hose; using non-ABS lines can compromise anti-lock braking performance.
Fitment notes: single disc Dyna and Sportster models require two kits (one upper, one lower); Softail models typically use three kits (lower optional on all), while Dual disc '18+ Softail and Touring models have specific adapter requirements — see ordering instructions.
Troubleshooting and measuring: measure upper line length using the stock master cylinder brake line as a guide, pulling back the rubber boot and measuring from where the soft line enters the crimp collar; Touring and Trike upper lengths reference the 49\" mid-line when determining final length.
