412 Series Shocks — Chrome

Designed specifically for Harley models, the 412 Series Shocks deliver enhanced suspension performance at an affordable price. Their simple yet durable design makes these shocks a cost-effective upgrade for your motorcycle.

Featuring a five-position cam style spring load preload adjuster, you can easily customize your ride to match your preferences. Additionally, these shocks are available in various style options, including full show-chrome or black covers, and chrome or black springs and end caps.

These shocks are made in the U.S.A and comply with road use regulations. Please refer to the most recent certificate for current approval listings.

Note that all shocks are measured from center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet. For '86-'15 XL models, modifying or spacing the chain/belt guard may be required for proper clearance during installation.

Keep in mind that a shock slightly longer than stock may alter the head angle and provide quicker steering, while a shorter shock may yield slower steering. For heavy-duty applications, these shocks are recommended for bikes operating near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.

Before purchasing or installing shocks with different OEM lengths, ensure that your wheel travel can be adjusted without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact or chain/belt guard/tire contact.
