The billet vented dipstick vents excessive crankcase pressure from the oil tank through a PCV-style breather. It uses an oil separator system with a perforated disc, a replaceable filter element and an umbrella flapper valve to reduce blowby and improve engine smoothness. 🛠️🛢️

Two venting-style options are included: option 1 — 1/8 NPT breather fitting with an internal porous filter element; option 2 — quick-disconnect coupler with rubber hose and filter element. There are two ways to read oil level: Full Hot Stand (FHS) with the bike on the jiffy stand, or Full Hot Upright (FHU) with the bike upright and level. The oil pickup port is on the right side of the engine; idling or warming on the kickstand can naturally fill the case and skew the reading.

Testing shows decreased engine oil sump levels, smoother revving, increased MPG and reduced blowby. The unit screws into the factory oil fill spout as a direct replacement, removes unwanted blowby buildup in the oil tank, and is made in the USA. This dipstick does get hot; use a glove when checking oil level.
