640 Cam

Enhance your motorcycle's performance with the 640 Cam. With extensive testing hours on each cam, you can trust that you are purchasing the best cam S&S can produce.

This cam is specifically designed for large displacement engines (110"+) with a compression ratio of 10.5 to 11.5:1, as well as smaller engines (96-107") with a compression ratio of 11 to 12:1. Please note that high-lift springs are required for optimal performance.

The 640 Cam features less overlap and fast ramps, which help to build higher cylinder pressure, while the lower TDC lift simplifies installation. It is designed for use with hydraulic tappets, but the installer must check for coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, valve-to-piston clearance, and cam lobe to case clearance to ensure safe and effective operation.
