The VT-i Electronic Ignition System is a dual-fire electronic ignition solution designed with fully encapsulated construction for durability. It includes a special trigger rotor that works seamlessly with traditional mechanical advance mechanisms. This system features a precise digitally set RPM limiter, allowing adjustments in 200 RPM steps from 5200 to 7000 RPM. A status LED is included for easy static timing, while the electronic dwell control maximizes ignition energy at high RPM and reduces current draw at low RPM.

Compatible with most OE and aftermarket dual-fire ignition coils, the Hall effect sensor detects teeth on the trigger rotor, providing stable spark timing. The system operates efficiently down to below 6 volts and is easy to install with a simple two-wire hookup to the coil. Additionally, it is waterproof and highly resistant to vibration and shock. With over-temperature protection rated to operate at 260°F (125°C), it is important to note that this system is not suitable for fuel-injected models and is intended for use with models employing a traditional mechanical advance mechanism.
