625G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit

The 625G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit is designed for 95/96/103 and 110 cubic inch engines, with compression ratios ranging from 10.0 to 10.75:1. This kit delivers the strongest performance between 3000-6000 rpm, ensuring optimal power and efficiency.

One of the key benefits of this kit is its ability to increase valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain lash and the issues associated with a loosely-fit stock chain drive. Additionally, the kit reverses the rear cam's direction of rotation, allowing for increased operating clearance between cam lobes, enabling higher cam lifts.

Installation requires the removal of material from the inner surface of the stock gear cover and necessitates the use of a hydraulic press and other professional-level tools. High lift valve springs and adjustable pushrods are also required for successful installation. It's essential to replace camshaft bearings and gaskets when fitting new camshafts.

This comprehensive kit includes camshafts, inner gear, outer drive gears, inner and outer bearings, a gasket, and detailed instructions. Proudly made in the USA, the kit requires the installer to check coil bind, valve to valve clearance, and valve to piston clearance.

Note that due to the inherent characteristics of gear drives, you may experience increased valve train noise.
